Can you match new boards to my existing floor?
Yes. Eduardo sources boards that match your species and cut, weaves them into the existing floor, then sands and finishes the area so repairs blend in seamlessly — you won't see where the fix was.
My floor has water damage — can it be saved?
Often, yes. We replace the damaged boards, address the moisture source, and refinish. Full replacement is only recommended when the subfloor is compromised — and Eduardo will tell you honestly which one you need.
Do you fix squeaky or lifting floors?
Absolutely. Squeaks, loose boards, gaps, cupping and popped nails are everyday repairs for us — usually fixed without replacing the whole floor.
Can you build custom parquet, borders or inlays?
Yes — custom work is Eduardo's specialty. From octagon parquet medallions to contrasting-wood borders and transition details, he crafts pieces most flooring companies won't attempt.
Do you take small repair jobs?
Yes. A few damaged boards, one squeaky spot or a single transition strip are all welcome. Many companies only want full installs — Eduardo doesn't work that way.
Will the repair need refinishing too?
It depends. If your floor is prefinished and we match the boards, often no. On site-finished floors we usually sand and finish the repaired area so it blends with the rest.
How long does a floor repair take?
Most board repairs are done in a day. Larger areas or water damage that needs subfloor work can take two to three days. You get an exact timeline in your written quote.
What if you can't find matching wood?
Eduardo sources by species, cut and width, and can often pull boards from a closet or under an appliance to use in a visible area. If an exact match isn't possible, he'll tell you before starting.
